Laura Puga oversees all aspects of People and Culture for our company including: global recruiting, people processes, total rewards, learning and development, and change management. Laura is responsible for hiring and engaging the best talent to achieve our mission. She aims to make our culture and the way SGI-DNA works together a competitive advantage.
Laura has 13 years of experience in human resources in various industries including chocolate, aerospace and biotechnology. She also has 7 years of operations experience and supported the launch of Bloom Energy’s Manufacturing Center of Excellence. Prior to SGI-DNA, she held key HR leadership roles in leading life sciences companies experiencing high growth including Illumina and DexCom.
Laura received a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and her MBA at University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
